Please complete the booking form and we will begin to make arrangements to confirm your tour if not already done so. We will send you your accommodation and final price confirmation before requesting any deposit payment. (Please refer to Point 15 for terms and conditions of booking a tour within 6 weeks of the start date of the tour.) Once this is done we will send you a secure payment link by email for the £30 per person per night (pppn) for a self-guided tour and £100 pppn for a guided tour, luxury tour or tailormade tour. On receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation invoice for the balance, which must reach us six weeks before the start of your holiday. A binding agreement will come into existence between us when we despatch this invoice. The date on which the final balance of your holiday is due is shown on the confirmation invoice. A further reminder will be sent via e-mail and within the e-mail will be a link to the final payment page. If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your booking, retain your deposit and apply cancellation charges as set out below. If you book a holiday within six weeks of departure full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments may be made by either cheque in GBP’s only and made payable to 'Cotswold Walking Holidays', debit card (Maestro, Delta, Solo, Electron) or credit card (Mastercard, Visa).
Your welcome pack (route notes, maps, luggage labels and any further information relevant to your holiday) may be sent in advance by post or will be waiting for you at your first accommodation – this varies from holiday to holiday.

We transport your main luggage from place to place. You should exercise reasonable care in the size and weight of your luggage to avoid potentially long-lasting physical harm to those whose responsibility it is to carry it. To that end we undertake to transport ONE item of luggage per person, weighing no more than 20 kgs. Luggage will not be transported if it weighs more than 20 kgs and will need splitting into another bag at an extra cost. Additional luggage will be subject to a daily charge of £10.
Please note that additional items should not be attached to bags via handles, straps, or wedged in open pockets as this can result in items being lost. Please ensure that your luggage is securely locked in order to prevent items falling out and to keep your valuables safe whilst waiting for collection at the accommodations.
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your holiday whilst away, you should contact our office immediately and we will do our best to resolve the problem straight away. Should it not be possible to resolve your complaint immediately, you should write to us, giving full details, within 14 days of the holiday's conclusion. Complaints received after this date can be very difficult to investigate.
If you wish to book a tour with a start date that is within 6 weeks from the date of your enquiry, first, we will look into availability and provide you with a price estimate. If you are happy with the estimated price and wish to proceed, we will request a completed booking form and a deposit - £30 per person per night (pppn) for a self-guided tour and £100 pppn for a guided tour, luxury tour or tailormade tour - before we start making the arrangements for your tour.
Once we have confirmed the arrangements, we will send you a copy of your accommodation list and a secure payment link for the final balance of the tour by email. The final balance payment must be completed within 24 hours of receipt of the payment link.
If, for any reason (e.g. a change in accommodation availability), we cannot make the tour work at the estimated price, we will provide the full details of the change(s) and you could either decide to go ahead with the alternative arrangements or, if you do not wish to proceed, we will cancel the arrangements and process a refund of your deposit payment to you, less £25 per person administration fee.
